We Are Not Alone
We Are Not Alone
This senseless act,
never imagining where it might lead,
chemicals racing through your bloodstream,
until they lay to rest your heartbeat.
Cold vacant eyes of death,
staring through all who see you,
locking in the experiences,
wisdom and secrets within,
where warmth once was and cold remains,
leaving a rainbow of colors on your skin.
Its been awhile we are told.
Chemicals laying stagnant throughout your system,
chilling sadness envelopes all who knew and loved you.
You were not alone, you were not alone.
But why? But why?
It is beyond understanding and belief,
Leaving us to wonder what we could have done
to stop you from this senseless act.
How could we have not seen this?
How could we have not known?
In hindsight it might make a little sense.
In hindsight we might have picked up on something.
But why? But why?
It is too late now,
Leaving us weeping, traumatized with disbelief,
This is not denial this is grief.
But why? But why?
We are not alone. UNSUPPORTED CODE
