Unwanted Lad

He's a music that never heard
A sound that never given attention,
A melody that's keep on being ignored
A voice that already forgotten.

It's still vivid to me,
How oblivious he was,
It's crystal clear,
How lonely he used to be.

No one ever tried to comfort him,
They don't know what he's going through
Because they remained as cold as snow,
and pretending to be blind and deaf.

I regretted everything I did,
I hesitated to help him
I'm afraid. I am a coward
I couldn't stand with my own feet.

His brightness is already fading
His petals are already falling,
He only thinks about one thing,
The solution on how he could end his suffering.

So, he made a decision.
He let himself to fly to the sky.
He was floating to the air with his both hands facing down,
His face has no sign of emotion or reaction.

He was swallowed by everyone's enemy; the darkness.
Gnawing him inch by inch,
As soon as he kicked the chair,
Everything stopped.

His eyes shut,
His blood discontinue from flowing,
The time ceased to tic
As well as his lungs from pumping

Hurricane came afterwards,
There's a chaos in everyone's mind and heart
Throwing stone to each other,
Pointing fingers just to satisfy their conscience.

You put yourself into a deep slumber
Where there's no one that could wake you up,
You also include your heart whose beat stopped,
To run away from the rest of us.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
