Destruction
Destruction is what we as humans do
we cause this, we are the catalyst
we try, but there is no fighting this
it consumes a person whole
so destruction is only one, rabbit hole
As we fall down, we are embraced
in this detestable darkness, no one, wants to face
we are captured, and tortured
we are scars on this planet, like scorched earth
So why do I, sit by?
as l watch this calamity, a tear stumbles out my eye
I cry
because I want to accept the lie
that I can’t change the world
”I’m just one guy”
