The Drug Pt 3

Why can’t i get enough of you?
You won’t seem to ever leave my mind,
But when you seem to leave that is when
DEPRESSION starts to settle.
The way i lay around not wanting to move until…
I want to get that text or call that says you are out of my life..
Or the call to my parents that says,
“I want your permission to MARRY your daughter”
But back to reality the drugs he likes have the one content it needs,
But it just never seems to be enough,
They always seem to go try and find something without my content
I am deadly, but i will fulfill your need, the addicts don’t see it
I am the one thing that person seems to need,
Let me rephrase that,
I am the one thing that a person seems to want,
But when i’m there, i’m not really.

Let’s talk about the alcohol,
I may be so beyond addicted to your taste,
I may be addicted to the smell,
But… That doesn’t mean i can’t go without you
I can drop you any day, the thing is i choose not to
You know why, Because i’m your addict, you choose who,
When, how, when, and what we will go through just to taste, smell you
I just want myself to be ok without you, but obviously i can’t
I wish things were different, that you loved me as much i do you
But i now know you just are attracted to the content on the outside,
Not what is on the inside, it doesn’t matter to you.
Don’t let me die because of your addiction
Because of the drug, alcohol, and adrenaline i get from you!
I BEG of you…. SET ME FREE OF YOUR CONTENT!!!!
