Wouldn'T You

If you were alone on Calvary's top
And of Christ's Blood could get a drop
And ask Him make temptations stop.
               Wouldn't you?

If from the Cross He would displace
His arms and catch you in embrace
And hold you near Him, face to face.
               Wouldn't you?

If you could see His blood-shot eyes,
So sad and tearful as He lies
Looking at you before He dies.
               Wouldn't you?

If on that hard bed you could be
With Him in Love's last agony
And from His lips could hear 'Kiss Me'.
               Wouldn't you?
