Kelly's Poem

I have no words
For the pain that I feel
Doesn’t compare to what
You’ve gone through

When I think of you
I remember when
We played house and school
Linkin logs and doll house

For hours on end
You were my friend
My student
My doll

I was always in charge
Conducting our play
Its your turn now
Ill give you your way

I want to go back
Live all those years again
Ill take better care
Of my little best friend

I would take it away
All the pain that you feel
Give it to me
So that you can heal

Ill promise you this
If your time is cut short
Ill always be there
Watching over your court

You’ll always be in my heart
Anytime of the day
I will call out your name
And make time just to say

I love you Pookie
Room 123
Ill always love you
Sincerely Mindy
