I Now Want Glory

Dull 
Thuds 
Smack 
Pow 

Always wanted to be second 
But I want the gold now 

Hiss 
Splash 
Gasp 
Crunch 

Found a power in submission 
But gold packs a better punch 

Glory's reckless, glory's dumb 
But good God, now I want some 

Glory's Greek and weak and greedy 
And it's got me so damn needy 
Always thought ambition seedy
 
Bite. Gold.  
Earn. Gold. 
Take. Gold.  

Leave them in a guiltless dust 
For the first time I just must 

Win.
