Who's Watching Who

I immediately jump to my feet. The drop from the window into the basement is about six feet; I am four foot nine. I hit hard on the basement floor. Just thick concrete, I scrape both my knees. Too dark. I fumble in my backpack for a flashlight. At last. Contact. I turn it on, I can see the horror of it all! Nine foot chains hang from the ceiling with handcuffs attached. Various torture instruments hang neatly along the walls like tools in a mechanic's garage. This is far from a mechanic's garage. Along the crease of the wall and the floor, I shine my light down on massive blood pools. I feet faint. Everything gets blurry. "Oh, shit!", are my last words before I black out and hit the floor again!

chamber of horrors
my soon-to-be home
sadistic playground
