Society of Workers

Living is easy with eyes closed,
misunderstanding all you see.
If true vision is desired
Why does it plague me?
That is why am I not a dog
Free to frolic and play?
Instead I struggle and work
Making money for the bills I must pay
I did not ask to be here
To struggle my days away
Never asked for a breath to take
But still others say I'll be okay.
