A Broken Hearted

My love for him is no longer present,
Our paths are no longer interwined
And we now go in different directions.
He has betrayed my trust.
I saw him with another woman
Kissing and making love in our bed.
She was very pretty with light blonde hair
And a slim figure.
She was young, wearing a skimpy nightgown.
They were both under the covers
Making passionate love with one another.
My eyes could not believe what I saw.
I was broken hearted,
Crying with tears running down my cheeks like the size of a river.
I felt like tearing him to pieces
By telling him you are a disgrace to our relationship
And the vows we promised to each other.
I felt like tossing him down the sewer,
Where rats go who are traitors.
Forgiveness is not an option.
The trust I had in him is no longer there.
My heart is broken hearted.
I will forget him,
Move on with my life,
Find someone who I love
And loves me back in return
Who I can trust
And will never betray me
And our love would endure for years to come.
