Phone Call

Little did I know

I thought it was all fine
That together we'd dime and shine
But little did I know

That you were long over me
While I was all over you
Your love had withered away
Though it was like blooming blossoms
At least I thought

All you meant for me was pain
And the times we had were all in vain
From the walk in the parks,
To the nights we watched the stars
You left my heart with irreparable scars

Please tell me what went wrong
Did I let you slip through my arms?
Or did I let you sip the bitterness of my palms
I thought you vehemently desired for us
Just like I did
But Little did I know

It all makes sense now
Why you ridiculed my plans for children
And mocked my thoughts for marriage
Know I know I've never known neither you nor love
