Lies

I don’t want to fall apart-
Don’t want to be that girl
I WON’T cry over you - not again,
And I don’t love you anymore.

Our lives have separated;
Futures miles apart.
Friendship’s on a cliff - let’s push it off
Watch it crumble - I’d SMILE.

Thought I’d die without you-
Guess what… I WAS WRONG!
I’m still here,
Still alive and strong.
And I don’t love you anymore.

Can’t hold on-
All I want is to let go.
Tired of indifference,
Sick of courtesy - SCREW YOU!

It’s not the same without you,
Chances are I DON’T CARE!
Looks like it’s better
Not wishing you were here.
I’m free.
And I don’t love you anymore.

They say things change,
And not always for the best,
But through my eyes darling-
Hating you is the best change yet.
Hear me - I HATE YOU.

All the words I never said-
They never mattered anyway.
I couldn’t see then,
The reality of you - the reality of me.
Just SHUT UP.

You hurt me time and time again,
I hurt myself too.
I’ll NEVER forgive you-
Can’t seem to care.
I don’t love you anymore

Set me free.
I don’t want to love you anymore.
