Peshmerga2

Amidst the mountains and the fields,
Where freedom is the only shield,
The Kurdish Peshmerga stand tall,
On the front lines, they never fall.
Kurdish Peshmerga, guardians of the land,
Fierce and brave, with weapons in hand,
Defenders of a nation, with pride and might,
They fight for justice, for what is right.

From the north to the south,
They protect without a doubt,
Against terrorism and tyranny,
Their commitment, a noble symphony.
Kurdish Peshmerga, guardians of the land,
Fierce and brave, with weapons in hand,
Defenders of a nation, with pride and might,
They fight for justice, for what is right.

Through the hardship and the pain,
They never give up the fight in vain,
For their home and their people they stand,
Their courage, a symbol of command.
On the mountains of Kurdistan
Where freedom is the only demand
Peshmerga stands tall and brave
Their duty to protect and save
Kurdish Peshmerga, defenders of the land
Fighting for their people, with heart and hand
Through the darkest of times and the longest of fight
They stand strong, for what is right

They fought against ISIS, the terror of the land
With rifles in hand and courage in their heart
They stood together, side by side
Defending their people and their pride
Kurdish Peshmerga, defenders of the land
Fighting for their people, with heart and hand
Through the darkest of times and the longest of fight
They stand strong, for what is right
The history of Peshmerga is long and proud
They fought against Saddam, and never bowed
