Like Fire

Love is something that only the heart feels
Something that burns like fire in someone's soul
Something so dangerous that no one wants to get near it,
yet so beautiful that it's too hard to resist
Everyone feels the good at first
It's just so beautiful to see and to feel
But whether we want to or not we end up feeling the bad side
As we get used to the fire we want to see how it really feels
And it burns the soul so deep that it cuts like a knife
And the scar is always there as is the memory
They say that a fire can't live if it doesn't breathe
Just like I can't live without feeling him breathe
No matter how many times the fire burns out
