You Will Never Know How Much You Hurt Me

YOUWILL NEVER KNOW HOW MUCH YOU HURT ME

I try to open up
but you slam me shut
and throw me away like an old cigar butt
you gave me false hope
i dont know how ill cope
do you know how many times I was told I was inadequate
and that i couldn’t be in the show
Told me I should put down my sail for I have failed in my life mission
6 times these words were spoken
and six times my heart was tore open
now again that makes 7
did you know yesterday 7 was my favorite number
I am now in intermission deep within utter suspension
And I want you to know
and i have a hole now in my heart that wont stay sewn
And you put me through the kind of pain i might not ever be able to shake
and for my own sake
I will put on a floor show
and cry in the rain so my tears wont show
I will put on a façade and I new hair style
but i forgive you because i cant stay mad no i cant stay mad at you
