Loveless Dreams Lead To This Darkness I'M Becoming
The one who wanted a Love from his dreams
Went to deep in the fight for the right to be King
As he rose so high to the castle in the sky
To his surprise The Lord was not inside
Only a sickness that estinguished his flame
And took the Dream he had
Right out of his name
The Nighttime Daydreamer
Was taken by a plague
As he could no longer
Find his peace in the day
They all watched him fade
As his Love disappeared
Becoming The Darkness
That he had beaten through the years
He just sat helplessly
And watched his heart break
to mask his growing pain
He followed the white snake
Right back into the Garden Of Eden
But there was no Eve
For The Darkness had decieved him
Right into a deadly temptaion
He had no escape
There was only one way in
To succumb to The Darkness
Which he ultimatly became
that was how The Dreamer Of Nighttime died in name
For he could dream no more
He was now a monster he called Darkness
The night his Love walked out the door.
