Black Actions

As we wake up in the morning to these fine tymes
Knowing everything gonna be fine
But just a few miles away
Someone else has death comin their way.

So do we make a path way to heaven or a path way to hell
But our black men are still lying in jail. rotting away to these Willie Lynch theories
Telling the path of the black man.

Cus these black on black crimes that we only pay attention to only at certain
tymes
That corrupts our black womens minds
Who listen to the wines of the babies who's father's in jail from selling
these dimes
But yet the white men are still doing fine
And acting kind to put us in the hole
that will remain closed for the rest of our lives.

So as i lay down in the darkness asking myself
what have i done, what kind of man have I become

If only i would have listened and been patient to wait things out
I wouldn't be sitting here listening to the police shout
So now as I sit in this hole praying to god
Twenty to life this hole will remain closed with no light to be exsposed

But hold up don't send us to our graves because our accoplishments are just to
great, see we have noble prizes and inventions that keep on rising isn't that
surprisng

see we have young black entrepreneurs that's doin the doin money stacked so
tall their focus could nevr be ruined

see u herd of I have a dream speaches and you've seen # 23 jumpman
sneakers. who you think discoverd peanut oil.

see you have Minister Louis Farrakhan but don't get him mixed up with with the
Bishop Don Woune but the list of accoplishments is just too long.

so now when I sit here and ask myslf what have i done what kind of man have I
become just know that I'm proud to be black, and these black actions will always
put a smile on my face Black Actions
