How do you know you are in love?

How do you know you are in love?
Is it when you become distracted, unaware of the passing, looming time?
Is it when you drift off in daydreams of dancing through clouds in the wildest fields of daises?
Is it when you smell the salty sea and hear the crashing, roaring, ocean amidst the driest desert?
Is it when you escape from the world by creating your own land of happiness and smiles?

How do you know you are in love?
Is it when your nightmares haunt your waking hours with visions of loss?
Is it when the agonizing screams of terror begin to occupy your mind?
Is it when the fear of losing your love becomes the equivalent of a million deaths in hell?
Is it when you feel your soul collapse at the mention of harm?

Yes, you know by all of these things,
But most importantly,
You know when your soul is filled with so much light that your own darkness cannot hide it,
You know when you are engrossed by every rise and fall of their chest, proving their life,
You know when you become wholly satisfied at the thought of the world existing with them in it,
You know when you are willing to sacrifice your life to ensure their happiness,
You know when you feel the weight of your bones become lighter at the sound of their laughter,
You know when you hear their melodic voice in the shower,
You know when you kiss them with a passion that will overwhelm all of the angels,
You know when you would create a new heaven just for them,
You know when you allow yourself to be overtaken into fiery hell to send them to glorious
