Down Low

I hate every sunset and I hate every sunrise. I'm lost and ever lonely without her here by my side. I don't know what road I'm on or even where I've been but that pain keeps a rolling on and cursed souls are it's friends. I couldn't find the words that I wanted her to know, so I cursed my own salvation and torchered my own soul.

And her leaving is killing me, she was my every moment, she was my everything. I don't know how I'll carry on and I don't know how I'll mend. I lost it all and I lost my best friend.

She was a blessing sent down from way up high but I never measured up and I tear soaked both her eyes. I never thought her leaving and I never thought her gone but I didn't do a single thing to make our love go strong. So now I sit here in the bar room and I drink my misery down. She did all she could do but a rambler moves around. I would pull down the stars and I would drain the seven seas, if she walk back through the door I would love that she loved me. I didn't want to lose her but I didn't even try so now I'm stuck here with the bottle that I traded for my wife.

And her leaving is killing me, she was my every moment, she was my everything. I don't know how I'll carry on and I don't know how I'll mend. I lost it all and I lost my best friend.
