She saw Herself, she found Herself
She was hated on
By many people
Who didn't understand where she was coming from
She got called stupid due to the way she talks
Nobody would give her a chance
To show she was much more than the way she sounds
People would laugh at her
Make mean jokes about her
And straight-up bully her
This made her feel super weak
It made her feel like she wasn't good enough
It made her shut down
She didn't want to share her voice anymore
She thought people wouldn't take the time to listen
She lost faith and confidence in herself
She gave up on herself and everything she believed in
Until one day she met this girl
Who saw past her challenges
And treated her like any other person
The girl didn't care about how she sounded
She only cared about what was on the inside of her
This made her feel happy
She regained all her faith and confidence over time
She started working hard to improve her challenges
She found the ability to be strong even in her most frustrating moments
She did still fall
But she found the ability to pick herself back up
She stopped caring about how other people viewed her
She only cared about how she viewed herself
She has come a long way from where she began
She hit some bumps in the road
She still loses faith and confidence in herself sometimes
But she always manages to pick herself back up and find it again
She's strong and fearless in the face of adversity
She believes she can do anything if she puts her mind to it
She saw herself as one thing
But found herself as another
