Whisper of Resilience

In the quiet of my heart, a storm brews,
Winds of sorrow whisper in the silence.
A weight presses, heavy, unkind,
A solitude that never finds its end.

Loneliness wraps around like a shroud,
Cold, suffocating, relentless.
The world moves on, indifferent,
While I stand still, lost in shadows.

My cries echo in the empty halls of my soul,
Unheard, unanswered, fading into darkness.
Fear claws at the edges of my mind,
A constant companion in the night.

Family, a distant shore I cannot reach,
Their faces blurred, their voices faint.
Connections frayed, a broken line,
Leaving me adrift in this vast, empty sea.

Sadness is a river, deep and wide,
Flowing through every thought, every breath.
It carves valleys in my spirit,
Eroding hope, leaving barren lands behind.

Yet, somewhere deep within, a spark remains,
A glimmer of light in the encroaching dark.
A whisper of resilience, a hint of strength,
A silent promise that this too shall pass.

In this solitude, I find a fragile grace,
A quiet strength I never knew I had.
Though I walk this path alone,
I carry within me the seeds of my own rebirth.

And so, with each step, I seek the dawn,
A new beginning, a softer light.
For in the depths of this sorrow,
I am forging the courage to find my way.
