Oz
I wish I was the Tin Man
Hollow chest and metal skin
At least without a heart to break
This pain would never sink in
Feels like I can’t breathe
My mind is a storm now
Just like Dorothy’s house I’m gone with the wind
Tell me…
How do I become the one
To fill your void the way she did?
Are you full yet?
From the cake you hid
I wish I was the Scarecrow
I wish I could forget it all
No mind to torture me at night until I bawl
But I’m the Cowardly Lion,
Once brave now scared
I fear the truth
I fear the past
OH NO! I think I just over shared :=(
I was Dorothy…bright and trusting
Skipping without fear
But you…the Wicked Witch of the West
Burned the yellow brick road I held dear
Imagine the Wizard of Oz drained of all its color
No yellow brick road or ruby shoes
That’s what you’ve turned me into
Even the Wizard couldn’t save me
Now I’m wicked…just like you
