Unknown Growth

It seemed like mistakes took away my sails

I felt worthless, overlooked, and destined to fail

Life is what you make of it, a fortune cookie reads

Just another analogy overlooked, indeed.

To tangle with this beast, you must better your routines

More work than meets the eye is needed behind the scenes

Imagination is freedom, wherever you may be

There is a fee to learn, not use; so take advantage, using knowledge is free

You will know you’re living, when life is but a dream

The almighty dollar is never as close as it seems

Anomalies are rare, unless that’s all that you see

Life is graded through the lens of satisfactory

Without care and persistence, that’s what you’ll turn out to be

Don’t be a step on the ladder of someone else’s dream

Keep positive growth within your mind frame

Then frame the positivity in a noticeable place to hang

So out of sight, out of mind won’t be your excuse

Because this growth is a gift that you should never misuse

Your worth is innate and wealth, a distant cousin

Money comes and goes, yet your self-worth doesn’t

Pay attention to good things, to keep life pleasant

Always give thanks for a free baker’s dozen
