What’s on your mind ?
What do you dream of my innocent cat?
Do you speak to the creator with words that cannot be heard?
Do your soft paws whisper to the soil beneath you ,
or do your piercing claws, oh so sharp , upset the leaves?
A window sill is your chosen place of refuge, that you sit on ever so still ,
like a trophy, counting the birds that group together on the power lines
. You have no purpose , yet you bring me such joy.
oh how I envy your simple mind.
Your blue eyes are perfection, they vividly glow in a grey world.
Your fur is silk, your ears ,a miracle.
Sour be my heart the day you leave me.
Don’t ever change, my innocent cat.
