Closed

8*8 feet cabin, that's all his world constituted of,
Sunlight never visited him once...
Darkness, that's his comfort all along, his soul forever trapped...
He hugs, recite lullaby, laugh & cry, all by himself.
Trapped there is no way out, chains holding him tight, he confined to that cabin...
The day he was born, his mother left this world, father turned a psychopath, closed all the outer world doors...
Love, what that even signify? For him its the beating he bears all night...
Food, once a day, 2 breads, his body shrinked to the paper's width.
Finally, it's The Day...
His soul ready to be parted from his body, to be free from this Closed space, to roam freely....
It was the only way, it was the only choice he had, Everything else reamined Silent and Dead.

Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
