A Missing Piece

I am told where you are,
But I cannot find you

I spent hours, my own time

I spent my own time looking for you

You were nowhere to be found

The pain I felt in my heart,
Is one I cannot describe

If only I got to say goodbye,
It wouldn't hurt be so hard

The purple orchids I bought you,
Hoping to put them on your grave

Maybe one day,
For you are still hiding from me

Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." God bless you.
