Dreams

I had a dream and you were in it,
I held your hand and stared at your eyes,
star-studded, sparkly and shiny like chrome,
you looked back at me and I could swear I felt it,
the warm touch of your eyes,
as they caressed mine, and pried into my soul.

It's so surreal the way your zephyr heals,
It casts upon me the aura of a man who's whole,
I was blind once, now I can see,
I behold an exquisite creation from God,
I behold one extra special piece of art- a master piece.

Now, I long for you.
Above and beyond the hurdles called time and chance,
I see you with my mind's eyes,
Alas! I long to see you again.
Come to me again and never let me go,
Hold on to me tightly like a three stranded cord,
Never let go until death says so.
