Poem 1
dear doctors
who came upon this journey
through hell with me
I have nothing new to say
and pretty sure it is the same there.
you have done what you can.
I have endured what must be.
I will go on
trying my best not to
visualise each day.
you have left me reeling
like an unfinished addict.
now
you want to talk
on the phone
write e mails.
we are not friends.
I don’t like you
your voice
your words.
you should know
I just barely accommodate
you
just so my family
stays sane.
