Lost Soul

Lost soul
Eyes filled with tears of regret,
Regretting not to be the one expected out of you,
Heart filled with guilt,
Guilt of not being perfect for them,
Soul that seems to have lost its faith,
Faith that was once full of life,
Brain feels illusion of frustration,
For it demands perfection like everyone else,
In between the waves of emotions,
Somewhere I feel lost in all sense,
Everything seems impossible,
Everything seems too much to handle,
I am at the stage of breaking down completely,
Yet holding myself all together,
So as to not be judged by them yet again,
I feel I am around people who don’t understand me,
The gushing wave of emotions overwhelming me,
I cry to myself every time I feel broken,
I don’t want to be perfect, I say silently,
I want to be the happy me, I cry under the pillow.
