My Dream Home
is full of people who chose to be born with their memories in tact
my sanctuary sits on a pretty little hill
with depths expansive as the milky way - shrinking back into quarks
at a moments' notice
my dream home dances whimsically at its own pace,
the basement airy, open
free of monsters guarding time that no longer exists
Often, I find myself standing at the door of my dream home
keys glistening in hands - hands steady, hands shaking

but...
my dream home is full of people who chose to be born with their memories in tact
I don't quite know if I'm brave enough for that yet.
