Hey, Satan,
There are a few things I wanted you to know.
You can't control me,
You have no power over me.
I am done listening to your lies,
They are powerless against me.
You used to whisper lies into my ear, hoping I would believe,
And for a while, I did.
When I was looking for things to fill the hole inside of me,
You told me you had all the answers.
You told me that God didn't really matter,
That it was fine to sin.
You told me to do what made me happy,
No matter what it was.
You told me that following God was boring,
Just a bunch of rules.
You told me that if I wanted to be truly happy and free,
I had to do it away from God.
Well, I hope you're happy,
Your rule over me is done.
I proved you wrong.
I proved that you are weak.
I proved that all you can do is
Lie and manipulate.
You don't own me anymore.
I am a child of God.
You pray on the weak and the innocent because
You know that you aren't good enough.
The only way you can get someone to believe you is
By lying and tricking and manipulating.
You know that God is better than you.
You know that as a fact.
I'm done with you.
You have lost your power over me.
Now I have God on my side,
And you know you can't beat Him.
I know I haven't seen the last of you,
But I'm ready now.
When you come at me, watch out,
Because God is with me.
