Next Lifetime

I am starving, I have not felt the comfort of touch in 863 days.
I feel your nose against mine. I close my eyes and we are
dancing from one lifetime into the next.
I shall find you.
Your palm shall rest in mine.
& we shall know what it is to love
When dogs run free.
