I Wish I Didn'T Know

I wish I didn't know.

I wish I didn't know what it feels like to lose you,
To know the numbing pain.
I wish I didn't know the hole that you've left here,
And that I'll never see your face again.
Never will we hear you say you love us, or comfort us when we're sad.
I wish I didn't know the anger of you leaving us, it really makes me mad.
How could you go so soon, none of us were ready.
We didn't get the chance to say goodbye.
Why did you have to leave us, I can't count the times we've cried.
I wish I didn't know how to make myself numb, just so that I can keep going.
Why was it your time, this we will never be knowing.
Are you with us, or is there nothing there.
We have to have faith I guess, of the mystical, we're not aware.
I wish I didn't know how to go on without you, but now I do.
Let's just say it's not the same, here - without you.
I wish I didn't know.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
