It Is Now a Crime:

It is now a crime:

To say ‘i love you’
To show affection
To smile
When within 2m of another human
And it seems absurd -
Before, people had forgotten
The world is a scary place
And I am in no position to believe that
Courage Remains
Because when I stare into faces across the path
It seems all hope is lost.
It is not okay to say
True happiness can be obtained
Because no matter what,
Such a Pandemic is truly a horrible thing?

(now read from the bottom up)

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

It's bad, bad, bad...the damage done would take time to repair...I like the way you expressed it here...
