Pain
I hate pacing and watching wondering when you will finally show
Hoping and praying trying to let the pain and worry go
Trying so hard to keep myself together as the hours go by
Wondering if this is the way it has to be and why
Do you ever think about how this makes me feel
Or just shrug it off like it is no big deal
The pain this causes me really never goes away
I live with it day after day
It never gets the chance to fully go away
When it’s almost healed you leave for another day
And everytime it happens the pain is just as real
But I guess to you this is no big deal
