Your feelings
Your feelings have been held more carefully
Your feelings have exploded sharper
everyone learned to catch your feelings
or avoid them
tip toe

I don't want to catch them
their edges rip into my palms
and as blood pours down my arms
you are crying louder
I don't want to tiptoe
I want to skip and stomp
and you can stare and stew
but I will not pick up your pieces
they hurt me
don't you see
I will be stomping and skipping
(will be catching moon rays
with my mended hands
