Escaping My World
See I ain’t the type of girl to fall in love with fantasies
But I am the type of girl to fall in love with dreams
Because dreams & fantasies are just what we believe
The potential of something might not mean what it really mean
So my goal is to look beyond that, cause it’s more to it and that’s reality
Right now I gotta focus on what’s now and not, you know, what could be
In the future more will come but that’s for my third eye to see
Can’t be blind to lessons to be learned from the present of reality.
You might be thinking “oh I’m contradicting”
Really I’m just tryna understand the world more than what we believe in
Cause what we were taught is only what they want us to know
So in order to grow, be your own wave and let your inner self show.
