Not Sorry

NOT SORRY

Were you sorry when you didn’t answer my call?

Were you sorry not responding to my emails?

Were you sorry when you ignored my request?

Should I be sorry?

Have you been waiting for another call?

Have you hoped another email would come?

Have you expected another request?

Should I be sorry?

For not trying the phone again?

For not writing one more email?

For never making another request?

Who is to be sorry now?

The silence says it all.

The lines of communications have NOW been fatally severed.

Is anyone sorry NOW?

Hi Kimberly: A well written poem. We made apologies to friends we had and they never answered. We knew them 35 years. friends who would ignore you were never really friends. welcome ti the soup!
