Clowns

Some folks are mostly delighted whenever they see a clown.
They can hardly wait till the circus comes to town.
It's the silly antics in the center ring they always come to see.
It makes them roll with laughter and clap their hands in glee.

While others feel most frightened whenever they see a clown
And they will surely shun the circus when it comes to town.
They see a clown in full costume as a very scary sight
And some will say it causes them to have bad dreams at night.

Now for myself, I have no view one way or the other.
I can either watch the silly clowns or never even bother.
Some folks are of the opinion that I'm a sitter on the fence.
But telling me I have to choose a side simply makes no sense.

So it really doesn't matter how you feel about a clown.
Whether you're for it or against it when the circus comes to town.
Many folks love them while others just wish they'd stay away.
But I'm pretty sure the circus clowns are here to stay.

Hello Joanne Joyce, I have a clown bank it beloned to my dead husband, now mine. I love the clowns. We use to see them at a street sidewalk event. We did enjoy them. Have a nice evening my friend.
