Epiphany

Pain, ripping, clawing, twisting
Driving through my core
Biting at my sanity
And leaving me drained

Tearing away my reality
And making illusion real
Showing me the truth
I'd rather not see

Ice flows in my veins
Replacing warm blood
With poisonous cold
And betrayal

Love, that illusive emotion
That i thought i had grasped
Flows through my fingertips
Like the evening tide

Nothing is real
Everything Picasso
Jumbled and disfigured
The ultimate Truth.
