Old Tedd

Old Tedd

There once was a man called Old Tedd
They all thought that Old Tedd dead
But what they didn’t know
That Old Tedd wouldn’t show
He’d sail on the sea with hanged head

Twas so grand, and so deep, oh, quite vast
He’d found home for himself here at last
But the Sirens had called
And Old Tedd was enthralled
Now Old Tedd is a thing of the past

Bummer! Just when things were going so well for Old Tedd. Those devilish Sirens will get you every time. I really enjoyed this tale Delphon. Dean

If legend is correct, many men are believed to have succumbed to the charms of sirens. Enjoyed your poem! Congratulations on your win, Delphon. Hugs, Carolyn
