So Close, Yet So Far

don't you see love,
we could never be. 
you're chasing heaven 
& I'm building a mansion
in purgatory. 
you want to see life
& i want to feel it. 
you want to love 
& i want to break. 
you want forever 
& i want today. 
you want the sun
& i want the hurricane. 
you want promises 
& i want silence. 
you want me 
& i want it all.
