Dark

In the dark of my room late at night
I lay awake
Thinking
Thinking of what's out in the night sky that I can’t see
It's always dark for me
I move slowly to my door
carefully not to trip
I can't see anything in my path
Everything is dark in the world
I sit here typing
So slowly because I can't see the keys
I never will see the keys
I will always be in the dark
For eternity
Because...
I am blind

Hello Jasmine, blind people have their own way of sight. I am glad you are able to type your poetry. Have a nice evening my friend.
