Mist
I was walking through the mist,
Somewhere, i know not.
i fear not, i walk and walk,
somewhere i know not.
but halt, i feel someone behind me,
i know not, who
i began to feel scared, as i walk through the woods.
something strange, but i know not.
i felt the same again, i turned back to see none.
i shouted, "whose there?" no answer.
i started walking again:
sudden as lightning an answer came,
"i am the mist lady."
i walked with her, talked with her.
as i walked she took me to my house.
and i turned back to see, none
she said she had to leave,
and would meet me whenever i called.
and she did come everyday, everyday, everyday.
