Cannot, Will Not, Should Not
If you don’t think you can, you can’t.
When you don’t believe you will, you won’t.
If you don’t show your best side to society,
You think you have a chance?
You don’t.
But if you think you can, you may.
And when you think you will, you might.
But if you neglect to see reality,
Failure is certain - close in sight.
It is a sad day indeed
when one believes progress is deserved, not sought
when everyone else has agreed
all that effort given will have been for naught.
It may appear rude and unfair
with success seeming impossible to obtain
But thou shall not despair
as those that are persistent
and fight through the pain
Your efforts, I assure you
will not be in vain.
