R.I.P. Us

With death comes mourning
You're forced to think about
Your future, your life without
At first there's doubt
But as the days go by, the less tears you'll cry
You may not want to go on, yet still you try
And the reasons your sad are not for the reality
It's the thought of the absence of the things that made you happy
The absence of that special person for the rest of eternity

I am in this mourning now

Because somehow I've lost the one thing dearest to me
I'm mourning for the death of us you see
So while you believe it's okay to still come around
Know it hurts me deeply and I prefer you stay away
You are the one that wanted it this way
And while it's hard to hear, know that it's harder to say
And our love that was so full of life, is now deceased
So I'm asking you to please, let us rest in peace
