Lost

There once was a time that I shined so bright
In a room filled with people I was the spot light
Though something changed
A tragic event that haunts me everyday 
When I was alone he took the advantage and left me saddened
 I can only be reminded of the days I can’t get back
The days before he took it all away 
My uncontrollable laughter
The way I didn’t care about the consequences to my actions because being reckless was regular
The time when I knew who I was and who I wanted to be
Now I don’t shine as bright
In a room filled with people I dodge being the spot light
The matter of fact is I’m broken
Mixed emotions And crying for unexplained reasons is what I’m left with
