We Are One - Nigeria Remix

We Are One (Nigeria Remix)

Ever seen an eagle feeding like a vulture?
Dignity trampled on, where corruption is a culture?
Darkness threatens her future, cause of her shapeless structure
it’s saddening 'cause she’s been richly blessed by Mother Nature
Disunity like a knife tryna cut her apart
Of the National cake the lower class don’t get a part
There’s a saying you will reap whatever that you plant
There’s fruit of hatred ripening deep in our hearts
Blame it on the Government and the sycophants right
Most citizens do not get a fair role of the dice
Economic recessions led to skyrocketing price
Job rate inverse proportional to the rate of crime
What’s the way forward for a nation without steady lights
Mourning like every night
Late fluorescents with candle lights
Our eagles been flying lowly, yet it’s a scary flight
A thousand tonnes of honor and glory, heavy right

But you'll see everyday
That we'll never turn away
When it seems all your dreams come undone
We will stand by your side
Filled with hope and filled with pride
We are more than we are
We are one

Though different color or eyes skin hair and different faces
Different cultures, tribes, religions and languages
Different dreams and believes
Different gifts we received
From the creator, our souls embedded into nature
We are one
Flesh and blood, living under the sun
A species divinely created in the likeness of God (we are)
Precious like diamonds and pearls (we)
Put in charge of the universe
In freedom, peace and unity and the winds of love
We are bound
Though divided by rivers, streams and boarders lines carved in time,
by civilization and secession into nations we may divide
but only one God watches over us like the sun in the sky
If chords unite our land, lets create a unity band
No such thing as a perfect world, but we could make it better
The grass been turning brown, you and I and can make it greener
God disguised as fate, made us Nigerians for a plan
Our nation will be great, if we unite we will stand

...everyday
That we'll never turn away
When it seems all your dreams come undone
We will stand by your side
Filled with hope and filled with pride
We are more than we are
We are one

Another Lifetime

VERSE 1: January 1st 2023
I was on malaria and typhoid medicine
Like 2023 is this how you choose to begin
God is the greatest cause Jesus had got me healed
Life is a trip, I’m sitting at the backseat
Observing passengers everyone is unhappy
Because the country’s economy is throwing back flips
Election is at hand, they’re determined to not quit
But inside my head, I’m having different thoughts
I’m not hoping on the government for my deepest wants
I understand there’s no such thing as a perfect world
But you and I can be drivers of our life’s bus
That same January, I suffered a sharp pain in my abdomen
I couldn’t sleep, the pain was effing intense, couldn’t even eat properly
Drugs I was taking couldn’t even seem to alleviate it.

HOOK: Can I get another lifetime,
Like if I die tonight, Can I get another lifetime?
Cause short are the times, Can I get another lifetime?
My dreams to optimize, Can I get another lifetime?
God please, Can I get another lifetime?

VERSE 2: In fact two more
I need to prove to the universe I can do more
And I will be more appreciated by the newborns
I’m underrated it’s like an effing tumor
I need a different environs, a different platform
A generation to be blessed by my rap songs
Cause right now I feel I’m trapped in the wrong world
Why are ladies in the street wearing bum shorts?
Underwear online shaking buttocks
And some men's life purpose is to get some
No one is thinking on how to make a better world
So when I rap with substance I just get shunned
On the media almost everything is sexualized
Will you open your eyes, and come to visualize
A greater purpose that will fulfill all of our lives
Nobody lives forever, but legacy long survives

(HOOK)

VERSE 3: Perhaps inspire them better with the right rhymes
I’ve been doubting myself ‘cause I barely get hyped
It’s hard to hit the bull eye on the first try
Is like I’m asking for something that is impossible
But you said with you that nothing is impossible
I could have asked for great fame and the world’s wealth
But I’m more concerned about our soul’s health
I’ve wasted most of my days, some useless es I’ve chased
Your V wouldn’t sooth my pain,
Your V wouldn’t make me great
And some wrong niggas I met
Meaningless vibes they connect
And fake friends, I banked on but eff me up life Zenith
They try to kill my dreams
Is either nightmare or sleep paralysis
What if I don’t get up?
This bus we’re riding in what if it effing somersaults
What if I just get shot?
This ulcer pain it hurts
(Hook)

Do You Love the Soul Or the Image

Do you love because of the the shape of their face or their complexion
or because of their height and how their body curves are projectioned
Do you love because of the outstanding brilliance they possess
or because of the dedication with which they successfully progress
Do you love because of the gifts they shared with you
or because their money and provision will be for a long time, there for you
Do you love because they are meek and seek to please you because of what their religion preached

Do you love out of compatibility or sympathy
Do you love out of reciprocality or sentimentality
Do you love because of their personality or because of their humanity

My Dearest Poetry - Verse 1

Verse 1:
My Dearest Poetry,
I hope you’re doing fine,
To tell you the price of my love is why I wrote these rhymes
But the truth is my love for you is unbuyable
Costlier than diamonds or whatever we think valuable
You remember how I scripted you down for my crush
Your simile is the reason that I ‘met her for’
You said, ‘tell her off’
That you’d treat me better,
That you’d always be there for me in all season and weather
You see I script you on pages
And you took me to stages
Was nurtured by your greatness
Like a mother you raised
Plus, the music you gave me
Can I ever repay thee?
Gave me a sense of esteem,
Like the Chinese you made me
So dear how is our babies
How is Music and Rap
They are the reason people see me respect me and clap
You’ve been like a device
And they have been my APP
Thunder go fire any person wey try to kidnap
With the lights lock and the door shots
Dear I’d be doing you
But now I place you out for the world at the risk of losing you
Not that I’m using dear
We’re trying to make a difference
Trying to inspire greatness,
With every word, line and sentence
Dear this is more than an art
I love you straight from the heart
We’re divinely laminated,
Nothing can tear us apart
Finely fabricated, people will love our craft
Nicely activated, pray we touch millions of hearts
And when we’re done
The music blasting
So now I thrive steadfastly
Though depression harass me
Defeat had tried to smash me
But like a peregrine falcon
I am steady advancing
I’m dancing
Reaping the fruits of my labour
And steady plant seeds
Oh dear,
I love you with deep passion
Together we’ll be travelling over the seas and oceans
Will forever be amazed for the rest of my days
By the complexities of how you are fashioned
Forever Yours

Not For Everybody

Hook:
I spit my truths in my rhymes
the depths of my mind
put my life on the line
my wrongs to be right

what more do they want

my rap is not for everybody, Hun
I said my rap is not for everybody, Hun

I'm vulnerable like a child
face my fears and my freights
lyrics rumbling outside
reflecting the son's light

what more do they need

my rap is not for everybody, Hun
I said my rap is not for everybody, No

Verse:
Started with nursery rhymes, when I was about nine
I said that Ama shine, but they tryna dim my light
They tryna block my shine
These haters are opaque
But I never fail to deliver, nwanne I'm just like Opay
they no dey pay homage but I still dey recharge
I shock 'em like electric when they try to discharge
they no fit fire me na me dey in charge
drinking from reality's cup but they chasing mirages
In this Journey of life
I just want to be better
I mean I will be alpha, but first let me be beta
a step at a time
they think I don't give a damn
but I can't please everybody
don't choose to get left behind
in businesses the packaging
in families they managing
dedication my strategy
I pray to win eventually
but if you don't want to be carried along
the hook is really catchy, so maybe rap along

Hook:
I spit my truths in my rhymes
the depths of my mind
put my life on the line
my wrongs to be right

what more do they want

my rap is not for everybody, Hun
I said my rap is not for everybody, Hun

I'm vulnerable like a child
face my fears and my freights
lyrics rumbling outside
reflecting the son's light

what more do they need

my rap is not for everybody, Hun
I said my rap is not for everybody, No

My Dearest Poetry - Verse 2

Verse 2:
It’s Poetry Pro
I got your letter Pro
You’re a reason that my value for the world is known
You’re a reason rhythm and rap music will be grown
Pro, you’re the farmer
And I am the seeds that are sown
You introduced me to rap
People respect it and clap
The beauty of me is ‘brought out’
By your ‘lyrical lamp’
You’re why they love me, Obi
Why they adore me, Obi
You’re a reason why the people really want me, Obi
Some rappers wrote me, Obi
But they don’t really know me
Been fading me like blurred colours
Please restore me, Obi
I love you too, Chidubem
You are my boo, Chidubem
Be passionate and focused in what you do Chidubem
Stay connected Chidubem
Don’t stop learning Chidubem
That’s a crucial way to live by your name Pro, Chidubem
Be inspired by the passion, not cheddah or dow
Be you Obi, be you Chidubem, or be you Pro
be you, you can inspire a million and many more.
And many more
Be you Obi, be you Chidubem, or be you Pro
be you, you can inspire a million and many more.

Give Me You Lord

I need he who made the flowers
And then he gave them stalks, that rest upon the branches
Need he who make the fruits
And then he gave the seeds, so they can be replanted
And they regrow, God you know
Just like rivers to Tilapias
Just like sugar to Malaysians
Lord that’s how much I need you, I promise I’ll always please you
Need your strength, wisdom and guidance

How I Wish

How I wish you know
How much I love you
You'd let be the one,
You'd always talk to
You'd let me look deep into your eyes
You wouldn't mind been softened by my poems
When your heart is heavy
You'd let me carry
You'd let your tears be wiped by my hankie
I LOVE YOU SO MUCH
It's you I'd like to Marry
Please say yes like let be you Banky
You are the most finest girl, I seen ha
Sometimes I come online, just to stare at your picture
Girl let me hold you
Haven't I told you
You're my air, my water, my everything la
I cross my heart Girl,
These words are true
I love you like a scholar loves to read his books
I love you like a burner loves to burn and cook
I love you like I love my Mother's soup

The Lord's Glory

The Lord's glory is in the sky
The way the clouds are aligned
White pillars of rain
Gliding in grace
As the sun gloriously shines
The Lord's glory is in the waters
Every lakes, oceans and rivers
Flowing the earth
Wild and quiescent
He alone determines the tides
Lord your glory is in my life
Your glory is in the lyrics I write
Your glory prevails in the battles I fight
Like bullet proofs, you have always being my guide
Though like Peter sometimes I deny you
I repel from you like the north pole,
of two magnets placed north pole to north pole
Glad I turned right back, Father come close

Father come close
That you'd cover me
Lest I eat of the Forbidden Tree
Lest I fall into the devil's trick
Without you I'm gone, you're like oxygen
Father bless me
Bless my family
Bless my friends
Touch the hearts of my enemies
Bless my finance
May I never lack money
May I shine like the sun
Reflecting your glory
At the sea side
There's a warm gentle breeze
And a clear sky
Everybody smiles
Some others happily jumping towards me
As their ricocheting volleyball flies
Father bless me
Direct all my ways
Don't let me be eclipsed or turned away
I pray that you will forever stay
So my life will be bright like a summer's day

Addicted To Poems Part Ii

This morning I woke up from bed
With a paper and pen in my hand
Then I started to write, I hope you'd get it right?
I am addicted to poems
Some rappers hide in an image
You can't spit, makes you no less privileged
I'm taking it personal, you see i'm personal
just tell me what I write is diminished?
I glorify God through my lyrics
I will never despise my critics
cause I understand, we are different humans
They may have a blurred perspective
Or maybe I'm tripping
Maybe I need to speed up my rhythm
You can't kill my spirit
My intuition told me someday I'd be winning
Like Christ
Just with a gift I was given
By Christ
At the end of the day, I will always be rapping
I see you peeping to know, how many clapping
Call my passion crazy
But I'd never be lazy
I'd stay strong working on my craft
