Diary of An Aging Man

Today started with a new grey hair.
I find myself enjoying the air.
I think about what I'm going to do.
Not like a young man would do.
Irony is when I risk my life to feel alive.

Today the lines in my face are more defined.
My taste for life is more refined.
I was never one to stay inside the lines.
Body aches remind me of the life I've led.
A thirst for adventure and finding out what's ahead.

Today there's more stroll in my step.
That race, the tortoise has my bet.
The pain in my feet reflect the hills I've climbed
The road more traveled is harder to find
The cost of wisdom is a life full of mistakes and regret.

Today my back made a "pop" sound
My children is where my happyness is found.
My sadness can be found in the wings of a dragonfly.
If I say that out-loud I might start to cry
Tears come easier with pain and age.

Today I woke up.

The Flesh Is Weak

I think about her constantly
My memory smelling her instantly
Her touch still lingers on my skin
Yearning to feel her again
Every part of our relationship is a sin
It may be wrong but it feels sooo right
The 2 of us alone with nobody else in sight
Her body and attitude is everything I seek
The flesh is weak

The shiver from my fingers sliding down her side
Her aura glowing like sunshine
Thinking of her reminds me of summer
Understanding without speaking
My body longing to touch hers
Lovers fall in but this may require leaping
My body shaking from being near her
Thinking I'm too old for secret keeping
Lust awakens as I see her tight naked body as I touch myself
The flesh is very weak

On my mind is where Bella will stay
Knowing I will see her again someday
Hopefully that day comes fast
I need to hear the snort in her laugh
Eventually I will just be a man in her past
And she will be the woman that got away
Her mark branded on my soul
Memories of her run through my mind continuously
The way she jumped on me to kiss me
Then she wrapped herself around me
Legs around my waist
My God! The Flesh Is Weak!

Explicit Thoughts Inside

Since I can't say the words that I want to use
We r going to have a little fun and light the fuse
I don't give 2 flocks
Wrap that shizit up in a box
Ready to swing on a mother father
Make sure ur girlfriend is flocked proper
I heard she's a real gobbler
Meaning she's a swallower
She is kinda twisted and slightly demented
Don't worry, she consented
If u don't know who I'm talking about, she hasn't told u
Acting like it's laundry day when I fluff and fold u
Watch ur face! That last step is a doozie
The last shot was a little boozy!
My proper pussycat pounding turned ur girl into a floozy
Oops! I added more liquor to the drink
I got way more game than u think
No words r necessary to get her in my bed
Her mouth was moving but it wasn't cuz words were said
Dirty talk is the preferred language spoken
Making sure to leave that pussycat broken
Begging me to make her bed my own
Told you, I'm the King and nobody can take my thrown
U will need every drop of drip that is in ur mother flocking profile
I might be gone for awhile
I shall return like a Knight on a quest
I cannot give you my best
She did a number on me
Realness is what u see
It has been an honored to occupy ur mind
Until next time...

The Toledo Panic Button

A Con-man's way out
Only in cases of emergency
Like the fire axe behind the glass
Only this is more deadly
Way more sketchy
Die with the lie
A mark gets wise
Gets hip to the jive
Catches on
Smells the cheese getting stinky
Eyes shift as reality comes to light
Make a decision!
 is about to get hinky!
Confidence is gone and it's time to fly
Make like some titties and bounce
Only one way out!
The Toledo Panic Button!

Violence By Way of Fantasy

STOP! This is the updated version
So now I guess this is the REMIXed version
Now the ONLY version
Poetrysoup Exclusive Version
Click the back button if ur ears r still virgins

I'll make blood drip down ur face
Throwing hands and invading ur space
I go to war like Scarface
Shell casings dropping like dimes
I told you too many times
Don't test me at anytime!
I will set ur ass in the grass
I'm all up in ur face like SMASH!
I might let u get up
Give u a chance to man up
If ur ready to fight The Champ just step Up!
Like Cassius Clay, I'm light on my feet
Bareknuckled and knocking u on ur seat
Talking trash put my fists on repeat
Spit out like rhyme sellers
I feel like it needs a hook to make any dollars
Gangsta Rap like Tupac
Investing in ass whoopings like it's a new stock
Don't let this pretty face make u think u can beat me
I will teach u to respect me and want to be me
Be careful where u r poking
I'm always laughing and joking
Come at me wrong and I'll leave ur ass smoking
Ask this guy on the floor choking....
I'll take ur lady and walk out of sight
Stepping over bodies leaving this fight
Leaving only one to tell the tall tale of that night
Poetic justice is what will be served in that fight
Words lift ur imagination to heights of insanity
Ending this the right way would cement my destiny
But there is no right way to end violence by way of fantasy...

Alone

Alone in this world
Alone in this society
Alone in love
Alone in life
Alone in fatherhood
Alone in my time of need
Nobody to help me
Nobody to care about what I need
Nobody to care about my feelings
I keep going for me
I keep pushing forward for me
Nobody to turn to
Nobody to call
Silence isn't always a virtue
Solitude has a maximum capacity
The most alone a person can be
"The silence is deafening"
A person must learn to be ok with being alone in life
We all go through the darkness alone at one time or another
Be your own light!
Stand tall and don't stop!

Premium

Ur car should be burning it
It's Top of the line when referring to my whisk(e)y
Regular, average, standard means the opposite
It's like a hundred dollar bill not a fifty
An A+ on the Final Test
Writing for the few
Show them who is the best
Anything less than Premium will not do

My internal engine burns E85
Cheap and isn't made for certain cars
I don't need Premium gas to drive
I can go just as far
Struggles and challenges give my wordz drive
Money hasn't brought me this far
I write these wordz & those wordz to feel alive
Not having natural ability so u pay to be a superstar
I won't be great until after I die

Sometimes they r outta Premium & u gotta get mid-grade
20 cents less but I'm not good with numbers & percentages
Paying more for Premium gas doesn't make u great
Membership has it priveleges
It's ok cuz my diamond shines even in the dark
Don't need the Big City cuz I'm fine in the Villages
Set fire to their city and my next line is the spark
Without money, I guess my poems are only Mid-Grade

Part-Time Hustler

For a Part-Time Hustler, every day is sunny
Money comes in and outta my hands
In need of some walking around money
I wrap my cash in rubberbands
Chicks swarm like bees to honey
Got me feeling like a Part-Time member of a boy band
Product flying off the news stand
Kinda got me feeling like a Part-Time Paperboy
Hold my drink, let show u how to make real paper, boy!

Selling my product from my desk and on tha corner
Snitches meet the coroner
I make a phat stack
Then I go home and lay back
I wear rubbabands on my wrist
Owe a debt and get wrapped like a boxer's fists
Bein' a full timer is takin' a risk
But bein' a Part-Time Hustler is the sht

Save Our Youth

Teachers and Faculty care less and less about students every year
If u aren't the favorite don't expect caring
Ur parents have to bring cookies to the bake sale
U have our children's life in ur hands
Take some responsibility
One on one communication goes a long way
Drop knowledge whenever u can
Whether it be elementary, Watson
Or High School High and u don't Lovitz
As Teachers pass kids in hallways kids like people u pass on the sidewalk
Unless they r causing trouble
Then they get attention
Positive reinforcement, don't u know!
Pay them no mind if they r quiet and have a 2.8 GPA
The only time the schools contact parents is if something is wrong
Or if the child met their criteria for acknoledgement
Teaching children used to be a calling
Now it is just a job
Just a young persons misguided career path
Being forced to say what they want to be when they grow up
Our youth has potential if we pay attention
Dropout rates and political red tape
Underpaid teacher and staff
State Lottery does not do what our government said it would do
Lower case because it is not important
State Lottery is supposedly there to help our schools and fix our roads
Yet to see that actually help either situation in Michigan
Other states may be different, doubt it
In some states a school is a business, Owned by a corporation
Turning a profit
Is a Teacher a Customer Service job?
Small Towns get overlooked as our Youth passes through the interent router
Spoken word is too much effort
A teacher's eyes glued to a screen
Right along with the child they r supposed to be teaching
Children cannot speak for themselves
Parents have the responsibility to be their voice
The voice of the voiceless
Politicians and public relations speak of "we"
There is no "I" in "Team"
Teaching our youth to not be selfish and to share
But if they r only thinking of others who is left to think about them
The coach's team has a winning season
2 kids sit on the bench the whole season
No hopes of actually playing
The "team" wins the Championship
Wearing the same shirt doesn't make u a "team"
When asked why the kids didn't play all season
School said the coach's job was based on wins
If the kids wanted to have more game time, they should be better at the game
Actual Events leading to this piece of literature
Save our Youth

Trash Talking At It's Finest

The continued story of this poet
Haters r going to be mad that I even wrote it
Here is where I give u "The Business"
Like a lightning bolt striking with a quickness
Trust me, u haven't heard the best of it
A debt to collect and I'm gonna settle it
Mouths sown shut like a gangsters lips
Leave everybody sleeping with the fishes
The lips tell no lies just like a politician
This is the Sh*t Talkers Edition

I don't do well staying inside the box
I'm better at picking locks
But ur lady just lets me in when I knock
Words like cells in my blood
Flowing through these veins like the levee during a flood
No filter from the brain to my paper
Just a figment of imaginary literature, kinda like vapor
In the Poetic Justice League and I'm the Caped Crusader
By the end I'll be your Daddy like Darth Vader
Enough of the dilly dallying and chitter chatter
Down to Brass tax, nitty gritty, the heart of the matter

All in ur face, screaming, "U can't see me!"
Letting words "Float like a butterfly & sting like a bee"
Leaving all the drama behind me
From this point forward
Pulling all the hit contracts I ordered
"Keep Stepping" and move forward
Wouldn't still be here if it wasn't for the Lord

Got an ppointment with fate,
Best not be late
Happiness & havoc is what I hope to create
If u haven't notice I am a Problem
U better have listened to everything I told them
A fresh canvas has endless possibilities
Maybe a mural of myself among other Poetic Deities
Or a sketch of the lies that I made those people believe
Truth is gray and things aren't what they seem to be
