There is something different about her,
Something only I can feel.
Her eyes shine just like glitter,
Flooding with joy, calm, and zeal.
She is as crazy as me,
Better and more compassionate though.
With a smile so full of glee,
She makes my life glow.
Quirky, sane and full of pride,
she is the perfect blend.
Always by my side,
Yes! She is my best friend.

Rishika Singh Poem
The night was cold, so was my heart.
I couldn’t watch her go.
I yelled, I requested, I cried.
She just walked away.
I saw her disappear in the thick haze.
I stood there alone, feeling my body get numb.
My heart raced a thousand horses.
She was gone, leaving me with my failures, difficulties and loneliness.
Very soon I realized-fake were her promises to be there for me.
Fake was her love, and mine too deep.
She lost someone who truly loved her.
I lost someone who didn’t.
I felt as empty as the night sky without the moon.
Maybe that’s what I was meant to be, a new moon night.

In the roller coaster of life,
I want to be by your side.
Full of ups and downs, together we will strive.
You and me side by side.
Together we will scream,
With hand in hand.
Oh, it feels like a dream;
A dream in my wonderland.
I’ll never let you feel alone,
Till the end I’ll be with you.
When everyone else will be gone,
You’ll still find me besides you.
